Friday, 10-28-11

Today in math class we had absolutely no homework. Although we had no homework we had Mr. Freneau talk to us about an upcoming test that we have this Friday. (Nov. 4) He had us brought up to speed on what the test will be about, and what were supposed to do, so good luck to my entire fellow 8th graders. In English class we printed our patriotic essays and posted them to our individual blogs. Then for the rest of the class period we worked on our C.B.L (Challenged Base Learning) projects.  The purpose of those projects is to somehow learn about our topic of choosing and write to change the world in that particular topic. In Earth science we worked on our worksheet packets and waited for some other students to edit their imovie projects on one of Newton’s 3 laws. In history class today we had a review about Mexico and showed our PowerPoint’s to some of the students.  Study hall is pretty self-explanatory. In reading we had a test over dialogue and dialect. Also, we handed in our bookmarks on our books. For the rest of the class period we read our independent books. And for our 7th period classes just depend on which rotation you’re currently in. For 8th period though today was the last day of P.E. for boys in wrestling if you weren’t going out. For the girls today was the last day of P.E. for basketball if they weren’t going to go out. Yet again another day gone by for our school.
